I love this! I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. Being goofy and playful with my toddler is so fun and does wonders for reducing stress, but I doubt I’d give myself permission for that kind of play if it weren’t for her! Thank you for this reminder.

I feel like kids are a great entry point to play because it does feel more like we're doing "something." Sort of makes cartwheels and make believe feel more socially acceptable, but I wonder what adulthood would feel like if this was something we all did as part of our self care!
